A bus travelling to Butwal from Palpa has been washed away by landslide at Sidhhababa area along the Siddhartha highway in the district on Saturday. Police informed that the bus (Lu 1 Kha 5771) fell into the Tinau river.
According to Police Inspector Daktar Prasad Chadhary, the bus was hit by a rock that fell from above. The bus then fell into the river along with the rock. There has been no information of the number of passengers in the bus. A local in Dobhan, Bishnu Pandeya informed that the landslide washed away the bus, which had passengers inside, into the river.
