The absence of spur roads connecting the district headquarters has created undue difficulties for the travellers heading in and out of Bhojpur.
The SN RPT company overlooking the road maintenance of Bhojpur-Gharetaar road stretch are using proxies to maintain the road, but they are not doing the job satisfactorily.
The usual flooding during the monsoon in the local Pikhuwa river, which lies between Bhojpur municipality and Manebhanjyang VDC, has regularly been obstructing vehicular movement.
The lack of attention of the concerned authorities to resume the Bhojpur-Ghoretaar road connecting Manebhanjyang, Ranibas, Homtang, Khairang, Srindang, Hasanpur and Patlepani among 13 VDCs is creating difficulties for commuters, Ranibas’ local Gyan Bahadur Rai said.
The scenario is the same in Bhojpur-Dilang road which connects with the famed Dilang Bazaar and Bhojpur-Chakhewa road connecting Khotang.
