Many patients visiting the health post of remote Archale VDC are forced to turn back because there are no health workers including the doctors.Sanjaya Sunari of Saatdobato in Archale – 2 said he had to go to a private clinic after he found the health post empty. “I was sick and went to the health post for treatment but did not find any health workers; only found office helpers, so I went to local clinic for treatment where I paid Rs 1,800 for medicines,” he said.Sanjaya thought he would find a specialist doctor at the health post but could not even find health workers. The people are forced to seek expensive treatment at local clinics, he added.Likewise, Shyam Masrangi – who had gone to the health post with his sick child – had to turn back after finding no one there.
